Film & Television
The Film & Television Division advances excellence in legal representation across motion pictures, television, streaming platforms, and emerging visual media. The Division focuses on the legal and business frameworks that shape the industry, including production agreements, talent negotiations, financing structures, guild matters, and distribution models. It serves as a forum for analyzing trends, addressing regulatory developments, and strengthening members’ ability to advise creators, studios, financiers, and on-screen talent.
To accomplish its mission, the Division offers targeted CLE programs, expert-led panels, and industry roundtables, while developing strategic partnerships with studios and production entities. It also facilitates mentorship initiatives and curated networking events that connect emerging attorneys with seasoned practitioners and industry leaders.
Music
The Music Division supports attorneys representing artists, songwriters, producers, publishers, labels, and music technology companies. It concentrates on the legal and commercial issues driving today’s music business, including recording and publishing agreements, catalog acquisitions, touring, branding, royalty structures, and digital distribution. The Division provides insight into evolving matters such as streaming economics, artificial intelligence, and global rights management.
The Division fulfills its goals through specialized educational programming, thought leadership panels, and practical workshops led by experienced music counsel and executives. It further strengthens member engagement through mentorship programs, strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, and networking events that foster meaningful professional relationships.
Sports
The Sports Division brings together attorneys who advise, represent, and advocate for professional and amateur athletes, agents, teams, leagues, governing bodies, and other key stakeholders across the sports industry. The Division serves as a comprehensive forum for addressing the complex and evolving legal and business issues that define modern sports law.
The Division addresses a broad range of substantive matters, including the negotiation and enforcement of player and coaching contracts; collective bargaining agreements; league and organizational governance; endorsement, licensing, and sponsorship arrangements; regulatory compliance; dispute resolution and arbitration; and name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights. The Division is committed to advancing the highest standards of strategic counsel and professional responsibility within an increasingly globalized, commercialized, and highly regulated sports ecosystem.
To advance its mission, the Division develops and delivers substantive educational programming, including legal forums, industry-focused workshops, and thought leadership initiatives designed to keep practitioners at the forefront of legal, regulatory, and business developments in sports. The Division actively cultivates strategic relationships with sports organizations, regulatory bodies, academic institutions, and industry leaders to promote collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and informed dialogue.

Litigation
The Litigation Division is dedicated to strengthening advocacy and dispute resolution across the sports, entertainment, and related industries. It focuses on complex matters, including but not limited to contract disputes, intellectual property conflicts, employment and other high-stakes commercial disputes arising within these interconnected sectors. The Division provides a platform for examining litigation strategy, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms tailored to the unique structures and regulatory frameworks that shape these industries.
Recognizing the fast-moving and highly public nature of disputes in sports, entertainment, and adjacent fields, the Division also explores issues such as emergency injunctive relief, reputational risk management, league disciplinary proceedings, artist and athlete eligibility challenges, and media and content rights conflicts. Particular attention is given to matters that intersect with governing bodies, collective bargaining agreements, endorsement and sponsorship arrangements, production agreements, and evolving digital distribution platforms.
The Division achieves its mission by organizing trial-skills workshops, case study panels, and discussions with litigators, arbitrators, and in-house counsel whose practices span these industries. Programming emphasizes practical advocacy skills, including motion practice, evidentiary strategy, witness preparation, oral argument, and settlement negotiation.

As digital platforms and emerging technologies continue to transform industries, our Division serves as a resource for legal professionals navigating these complex and dynamic fields.
The Division’s mission is to provide thought leadership, foster meaningful discussions, and create networking opportunities through panels and networking events. These programs will feature industry experts, legal practitioners, and innovators discussing critical topics such as AI, NFTs, digital currencies, blockchain, streaming, esports, and other emerging legal challenges in intellectual property and privacy, digital media and technology.
