BRANDII RICE
BRANDII RICE is currently employed as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs with Jesse Collins Entertainment. She oversees all aspects of legal and business affairs for the company’s corporate arm and production and development activities. Her repertoire of negotiating experience spans many genres of scripted and unscripted programming, having served as principal production counsel for over forty productions for cable and OTT platforms such as ViacomCBS, Netflix, Facebook, and Turner Broadcasting. They include, without limitation, the Superbowl LV Halftime Show, See Us Unite For Change, Real Husbands of Hollywood Limited Series, Facebook Live Audio Rooms, Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices, The All-Star Nickmas Spectacular, Forward: The Future of Music, Cardi Tries_, The New Edition Story, Rhythm 43 BLACK ENTERTAINMENT & SPORTS LAWYERS ASSOCIATION + Flow, Death to 2020, American Soul, BET Awards, Black Girls Rock!, Blackspiracy, Hip Hop Awards, Hip Hop Squares, Love and Happiness: Obama Special, Soul Train Awards and Sunday Best. Brandii was recognized by the National Bar Association as a 2019 Top Forty Under Forty Best Advocates Awardee. Before joining Jesse Collins, Brandii worked in the business and legal affairs department at REVOLT TV under the leadership of Inga Dyer and in business affairs for alternative TV at CAA. Her entertainment career began as a production assistant on Inside Man, executive produced by Spike Lee, and Black Snake Moan, executive produced by the late John Singleton and Stephanie Allain. Brandii received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and B.A from Spelman College. She is a member of the Texas, Tennessee and Georgia Bars and registered in-house counsel in California.
