Allison Hobbs is Senior Counsel, Business and Legal Affairs at ViacomCBS where she structures and negotiates a wide variety of complex transactions in connection with the development, production, licensing, acquisition and distribution of content across platforms and leads busines and legal affairs for the short form production team for Paramount Plus, Comedy Central, Showtime, Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, Logo, and the Country Music Channel.

Prior to working at ViacomCBS, Allison served as Director, Business and Legal Affairs at Big Tent Entertainment where she oversaw both legal and business affairs for the company globally and was responsible for the worldwide enforcement of the company’s intellectual property portfolio.

In addition to her professional obligations, Allison is a very active member of the community. She serves as a mentor to high school students through iMentor, Inc. and has volunteered her time serving on judicial screening panels and serving with various other initiatives and organizations. She is the Vice President of the Association of Black Women Attorneys and was the co-chair of BESLA’s Young Lawyers Division.

Allison holds a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. She loves languages and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
